Welcome to CV Anthem ("we," "our," or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our website and services (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide to Us

Resume and Profile Data: When you use our Service, you provide text or upload a PDF document containing your professional history, resume, or LinkedIn profile summary. This may include your name, job titles, employment history, education, and any other personal data included in the document.

Payment Information: If you make a purchase, your payment information (e.g., credit card details) is collected directly by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not store or process your full credit card numbers on our servers.

B. Information Collected Automatically

Usage Data & Device Information: We may automatically collect standard log data, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, and the dates and times of your requests.

Local Storage: We use browser Local Storage to save your "History" of generated anthems on your device so you can easily access them again. We do not use cross-site tracking cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect primarily to provide and improve the Service:

To extract your professional highlights and generate your custom audio track ("Anthem").
To host and display your generated Anthem on a shareable, public URL.
To process your $2.99 payment securely.
To provide customer support and troubleshoot failed generations.

3. How We Share Your Information

To provide our Service, we must share your data with specific third-party service providers. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.

AI and Processing Partners: Your resume data is sent to our AI partners (including Google Gemini) to summarize your career, and to EvoLink/Suno AI to generate the vocal and musical audio.
Infrastructure Partners: Your data, uploaded PDFs, and generated MP3s/Images are stored securely using Google Cloud and Firebase.
Payment Processors: Your transaction data is shared securely with Stripe.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We store your generated Anthem (including the MP3, cover image, and associated summary text) on our servers so that your shareable link remains active. We also temporarily store uploaded PDF resumes to process your request.

Your Right to Delete: You can permanently delete your generated Anthem, associated media files, and uploaded resume PDFs from our servers at any time by using the "Delete" function located in the "My Previous Anthems" section of the homepage.

5. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures (such as SSL encryption and secure cloud infrastructure) to protect your data. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not upload highly sensitive or classified information (e.g., social security numbers, confidential company secrets) to the Service.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date."
